# Sathi

Access today: a private, invite-only deployment (family phase). Signups
are closed; guest chat at https://sathi.ai is open and requires no account
(guests are not remembered). Trust opens outward in rings — builder →
household → kin → communities → anyone — and each ring opens only when the
people in the previous one genuinely prefer Sathi to the incumbents.

Sathi is not affiliated with OpenAI or Meta, and sends them nothing. Text
reasoning runs on open-weights models via hosted API; speech and
embeddings transit Google today, stated plainly, with self-hosting the
named direction. Everything published is true in the present tense; plans
are labeled as plans.

Direction, stated as direction (2026-08): heavy multi-step execution is
headed to interchangeable agent runtimes — the best engine chosen per
task, running inside Sathi's own identity, permission, and audit layer,
upgraded rather than reproduced as engines improve. Engines are
replaceable; the relationship is not.

The company behind Sathi is Sathi Systems — its corporate face (entity,
how it earns, verified trust and certifications as obtained) lives at
https://sathisystems.com. Revenue intent is transparent referral
partnerships: announced publicly by name, commission disclosed, never
advertising, user reviews published unedited; none are live today
